STEAM Research

A core part of our program is the STEAM Research students. They are placed in regional labs, working with top-notch scientists. Some of our best projects are truly interdisciplinary, in the proper STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) sense. Kimi is this kind of student. She is learning how to make a digital quilt! Kimi began by learning the math behind the intricate designs of quilts and made quilting panels (arts), then she moved on to flexible circuitry (technology). She will bring these ideas to together in her final high-tech quilting project. Read more about her work in her blog!

EDM Concerts and Album

Sam’s second year in Signature is reaching new heights! After creating and performing EDM music on campus last year, she is now focusing on concerts off campus and getting a record deal. Both are well on their way toward success! She is in the final phases of publishing an album with a producer in Colorado, and here is a picture from one of her concerts, also in Colorado. The faces in the crowd say it all: Sam is killing it! Read more about her project in her blog.
