EWS’ Rocks

Emma Willard is made out of some interesting rocks! Jess has learned that the grey stones are Onandaga Limestone, and the white trim rocks are Indiana Limestone. As part of her Signature project, she recently traveled to RPI to begin to study the molecular structure of these historic stones. These pictures show her preparing samples for polishing by making an epoxy mount. Read her blog for more updates!
